Initial Consultation

During the initial consultation, we'll sit down with you to discuss your vision and budget for the project. The initial consultation is a critical step where we spend time on site and get to know you and your vision for your garden. It's also an excellent opportunity for you to share any mood boards, pictures, or other design inspirations you have. We move forward by crafting a customised brief, sharing it with you for your approval. Alongside, we provide a meticulous breakdown of the entire process and present our proposal for the design fee.

Site Analysis

Before we begin designing your garden, we'll conduct a thorough analysis of the site. This will help us understand the unique features of the space and ensure that our design is tailored to your specific needs. As well as mapping out the site, we'll also assess factors such as soil quality, sun exposure, and drainage. This information will inform the design process and help us create a garden that thrives in its environment.

Concept Design

Once we have a good understanding of your vision and site, we'll develop a design concept that incorporates both. This is an exciting stage where we get to explore creative ideas and bring your dream garden to life. Our design concept phase can involve sketching, rendering, along with other visual aids and mood boards that help you see how your garden will look. We'll present these to you for feedback and work with you to refine the concept until it meets your expectations.

Detailed Design

Detailed Design

Once we've settled on a design concept, we'll develop the design further by adding more details and refining the layout. This is where we start to bring your vision to life in a more concrete way. During the design development phase, we'll work on the specifics of your garden, including hardscaping, planting scheme, and other design elements. We'll keep you involved throughout the process to ensure that the design meets your needs and preferences.

Tendering

Tendering

Once we've finalized the design, we'll move on to the tendering phase. During this step, we'll help you obtain quotes from 2-3 reputable sources for the installation of the garden. We'll provide guidance throughout the tendering process, helping you compare quotes and choose the best option for your budget and timeline. Our goal during the tendering phase is to ensure that you receive fair, competitive quotes and select a contractor who can bring your garden to life with high-quality craftsmanship.

This is where we'll work with you to select plants that reflect your taste and style while ensuring they thrive in the garden's conditions. The planting plan phase is a collaborative process where we'll draw upon both your preferences and our expertise to create a beautiful, functional garden. We'll take into account factors like sun exposure, soil quality, and irrigation needs to ensure the plants are well-suited to their environment.
