The brief for this town garden was to increase privacy, create spaces for relaxing, entertaining, and dining, and also provide an area for growing vegetables.
The clients felt overlooked by neighbours, so the garden design needed to create a more private, functional space.
The garden is divided into four distinct zones. Closest to the house is a place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee, as well as a dining area where four small trees provide shade from the afternoon sun.
Textured concrete pavers form a path through the lawn, leading to a large raised seating area surrounded by lush planting. Taller trees are strategically placed to shield the garden from neighboring houses.
At the back, Breedon gravel walkways connect two raised oak vegetable beds and a garden shed, creating a practical space for growing produce.
